What colour is agate grey?
Agate grey is RAL 7038 — a soft, slightly warm mid-grey. It sits roughly halfway between white and anthracite grey, and reads as a light grey in daylight rather than a dark one.
What's the difference between agate grey and anthracite grey?
Anthracite (RAL 7016) is a deep charcoal that looks near-black at a distance. Agate grey (RAL 7038) is considerably lighter and softer. Online they look similar; in person they are very different, which is why we recommend a sprayed sample panel before a whole-house job.
Can you spray white uPVC windows agate grey?
Yes — this is the most common job we do. With the correct uPVC adhesion primer and 2K polyurethane top coats, white frames can be permanently changed to agate grey without removing or replacing anything.
