What colour is anthracite grey?
Anthracite grey is RAL 7016 — a deep charcoal grey with a subtle blue undertone. At a distance it reads as near-black; close up you can clearly see it's a grey rather than a true black.
Can you spray white uPVC windows anthracite grey?
Yes, and it's the job we do most often. The frames are cleaned, de-greased, keyed, masked and primed with a uPVC adhesion primer, then finished in two coats of 2K polyurethane in RAL 7016. Nothing is removed or replaced.
Do dark colours damage uPVC in the sun?
Not with the right system. Modern 2K coatings are formulated for solar heat on uPVC, and anthracite is the factory colour on the majority of new UK windows. We spray it every week with no heat-related issues.
How much does anthracite grey spraying cost?
From £120 per window and £180–£350 per door, with a minimum job value of £180. A 3-bed semi's windows typically land between £960 and £2,000; a full frontage including doors, fascias and soffits is £1,800–£3,500.
How long does anthracite grey spraying last?

Can you match my new anthracite door or bi-folds?

Should I choose anthracite or agate grey?
Anthracite for red brick, white render and a bold modern look. Agate grey if your brick is pale or buff, or if you want a lighter, softer grey. We can spray sample panels of both so you can compare them on your own house.
Can you spray the garage door and fascias to match?
Yes — garage doors, fascias, soffits, gutters, cladding, gates and railings can all be sprayed in the same RAL 7016 during the same visit, which works out cheaper than booking them separately.
